Private Schools

Achievers Center for Education (ACE) Achievers Center for Education, based in San Antonio, Texas, is the only accredited, regional private school recognized by the Texas Education Agency that serves students functioning two years below age appropriate in at least one subject. ACE provides a positive, safe learning environment for those students to reach their full potential.

ACE is an educational option for 5th-12th grade students with special needs, including those who are functioning two years below age appropriate in at least one subject. They offer faith-based education for children with learning differences. We feature a low student-to-teacher ratio and hands-on teaching methods that are producing amazing results!

Most of the high school level students participate in the Success for Society course work that provides on and off site opportunities for job sampling, internship, and training.

The Clowvazar Academy has 3-tiers to their learning process:

Tier 1 - In Person The Academic Unit is geared towards General Ed., Special Ed and Gifted-and-Talented students who are capable of completing near General Ed. academics and may have anxiety, Autism, ADD, ADHD or other related issues. K-12th Grade

Tier 2 - In Person The Sunshine Unit is designed for students who have low functioning to medium functioning autism or other cognitive disabilities. This program focuses more on life skills, job readiness, Culinary Arts, Independent Living and some Academics. (Age 5-19)

Tier 3 - In Person Like the Sunshine Unit, the Young Adult Unit is designed for students who have low functioning to medium functioning autism or other cognitive disabilities. This program focuses more on Life Skills, Job Readiness, Culinary Arts, Independent Living and some Academics. Ages 18-25

They also have a new program for new students - Online Only Schooling or Hybrid Education this started in the 2020-2021 school year, we are not sure if this option is still available, so please ask. This new program for parents who want to continue home schooling their students, or would like their Homeschool students to have access to our amazing tutors, teachers and school events while maintaining a homeschool type curriculum, this program may be perfect for you! They also offer tutoring, a school of dance and summer school.
